Quicktime Streaming
Just wondering, could the rtsp streaming url work
if you uploaded mp4 files to the sub-domain/streaming folder
Just assuming they might work if quicktime can stream them?
If not, is there a way to get mp4 formats play on demand

You know thats a good question. I never tried it. Since mp4 can be handled by quicktime and mp4 supports streaming, I would think that it is possible.
I guess best thing to do is upload a small file and test it. Just make the file large enough that it will stream before the entire video gets downloaded.

Well, like I said I never tried it, so anything I say would be assumption.
Here is the wiki article on quicktime streaming Accessing_your_QuickTime_Streaming_server
The only difference should be the file extention instead of .mov it should be .mp4
I really hope this helps, and please let us know if it works.
