i am *really* new to this and i have no clue what i'm doing. my boyfriend bought me this for my birthday so i didn't really have time to research what to do with all this "webamster stuff". ok so here goes, i have microsoft front page 2000. how do i upload my pages to the net? what is my ftp address? i've tried every thing i can think of and it never works. i basically just need step by step instructions on EVERYTHING. please help. thank you so much! Smile

Do you have an FTP program, or does Frontpage include one?

Your FTP address could be http://ftp.mydomain.com, http://ftp.mydomain.dreamhost.com, or you just use the generic server at crayx.dreamhost.com.

I understand the need to use the word "everything," but it helps a lot if you have more specific questions, or narrow your questions down to more specific topics.

Well DreamHost supplies you with a lot of information to get started. If your not able to handle it, try using Geocities.com. Its really good for beginners.
