mysql (Garga) down?
Amazing, yet, not suprising.

I am shopping for a new host.
Any recommendations?

mysql (Garga) down?
I must admit I'm a little disappointed lately. If DH is going to advertise we'll receive a response "definitely within 24 hours", then there needs to be accountability. A free month for each hour past 24 or something like that. Otherwise it's just an empty promise. You might as well say "you'll receive a response by phone and email within 5min" as it's just as true.

The downtime on the sites not being counted into the system status is also bad. Having it only check every 30min or so is misleading if you're going to tout uptime stats. If a site is down 29min out of every half hour (roughly), it still shows as being up 100% as long as it didn't check to see if it was down during the time it was down. Instead of being up 100%, it was down 87% of the time.

That said, there are many hosts that are much worse than DH. A buddy of mine just lost his whole site, again, email accounts and all. No backup. Second or third time in a year. I know a few other people who, after much research, decided on DH.
