Moving wordpress from a sub folder to the root folder
I have a website that currently has a "coming soon" template at the root domain, i would like to work on the website on a sub folder, like: "domain.com/test" or something like that.

my question is, is it simple to move it afterwords to the root domain ? and if so, how do you do it... ?

Thanks A lot!

RE: Moving wordpress from a sub folder to the root folder
this thread will be of help to you. read over it carefully, it deals with wordpress if you plan on using that Smile http://discussion.dreamhost.com/thread-131591.html

if you plan on having a static site its just a matter of moving the contents from the sub-domain to the root of it though. can be done with the mv command via ssh. google is your friend
