Wordpress images
Images uploaded in the last few days to my Wordpress site display as a red x. I created a new blog under another domain, and the same thing occurs. If I right click on the image in IE, and pick "open link", I get a page not found.

RE: Wordpress images
If I create a new page and upload an image, all seems to be working fine.

If I add a post to the default "About" page, I just see the red x.

RE: Wordpress images
Your Uploads path is wrong. Check your Settings -> Media and see what’s in the “Store Uploads…” field. It should be just wp-content/uploads
The field below it should be blank.

The missing image on your front page is repeating an improper Uploads path. How did you add the image to that page? When editing, you can either Upload an image, or select one from your Media Library. Either way will bring up an image with an Insert Into Post button.

RE: Wordpress images
The path is set to wp-content/uploads.

I am uploading the image as you describe. I select the edit option for a page. Then place my cursor where I want the image. Select the "Add and image" icont (solid square with a border around it.) In the popup that is displayed, I click "select files" button and select a .jpg file. The file uploads. There is a red x for image. Properties show http://blogtest.dcando.com/wp-content/up...0x150.jpg. I click "Insert into page" and then update.

Typing "http://blogtest.dcando.com/wp-content/uploads/blogtest.dcando.com/2009/07/Hayley-Abbey-and-Rachel-300x225.jpg" into a browser, shows the image.
If I create a new page, all works fine: http://blogtest.dcando.com/?page_id=16
