Cafe Commerce/Drupal unified login
I need to set up a web site with a forum and a store. I was thinking about using Drupal and Cafe Commerce for this.

From what I can see, a user registered at the website/forum would need to create a second login for CafeCommerce to be able to purchase/download items. (And vice-versa.) For the record, I haven't used either Drupal or CafeCommerce before so I could easily have missed something!

Is there a way for users to use the same account to log in to both a Drupal website and a CafeCommerce storefront?

Thanks for any help.

RE: Cafe Commerce/Drupal unified login
If you are going to use Drupal why not use the ubercart set of ecommerce modules to go with it? Its free (cafecommerce isn't...) and very customizable. http://drupal.org/project/ubercart

RE: Cafe Commerce/Drupal unified login
Thanks for the tip. My main reason for thinking that CafeCommerce would suit me was that I wouldn't have to learn too much about running an e-commerce site. I'm sure there are many things I don't even know I need to know...

However, ubercart could address the login issue and also make it easier to match themes between the store and main site, so I will definitely check it out.

Thanks again.
