Merging databases & hostnames
In my Dreamhost user's menu, on the manage MySQL page, I am offered the option:

"Merge all databases and hostnames on *****:****** to ****:*******" (***.*** being Dreamhost server names, I guess)

I am assuming this has to do with Dreamhost's server move that I volunteered for last year. I further assume that although my site's folders were moved, the accompanying databases did not move, and still reside on the old servers?

Is this something I need to be concerned about? And if I click on the options to move, will I have to edit the some files on my sites so they can find the new locations of the databases?

Actually this is different. As you know the databases are on MySQL servers on machines separate from the ones hosting the web sites. In the past adding a database would create one on the next available MySQL server. They've since changed that so that it will add databases to a MySQL server you're already using.
