wp-cron runs automatically when people visit your site (or rather, it checks to see if it needs to run). Unless you’ve disabled wp-cron, you shouldn’t need to schedule anything. However, assuming you did, it works like this

(I only suggest that because it works better on Multisite and I plan for the future. Oooohhhhmmm. )

the fact is that I did it, i disable cron in wp-config.php. my question here is, should I put that code in “command to run” ??? of cron job???

Example:

command to run:

curl http://example.com/wp-cron.php

Yep  Just put your domain instead of example.com, o’course

#5

Apparently it did not work =(, I get the following message:

Missed schedule

any recommendation?

I took a look at your cron job:

The ONLY word I changed was ‘domain’

Your problem? You have ‘username’ in there and not your actual username

Hola, yo también tengo este problema, no he podido configurar el cron job pluggin wp-matic en Dreamhost.

Cron command:

*/20 * * * * /usr/bin/curl http://www.name.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cron.php?code=58f00549

WebCron-ready URL:

http://www.name.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cron.php?code=58f00549

y me tira el error “This field is for the command only, do not enter cron scheduling information here!”

hello, is there a way to check that cron are setup correctly ? I do not get any email, so maybe it means that it’s fine, but how to confirm ? Thanks.

To run cronjobs I use www.easycron.com which allows great control, it sends out alerts email if a cron job fails or succeeds.
