When I try to post a specific WordPress blog entry I’m getting an error 503: service temporarily unavailable / capacity issues. If I post a simple test entry it works. There’s nothing special about the entry that fails - it’s quite short compared to my normal posts. SQL seems to be fine through phpMyAdmin and there is nothing in the DH status page to indicate general issues.
Rather than tossing me a fish I always prefer to learn how to fish : What’s the best way to diagnose this? What logs can I look at or what tests can I do?
The standard diagnostic I would perform is to eliminate parts of the post until the error disappears and then add a could characters at a time to see if it fails again - but in this case that will be pretty time consuming and will play havoc on RSS for anyone reading the blog.
All ideas welcome. Thanks!
