Wordpress issues since upgrade

Hi all-

I have an issue with three different WP installs on three different domains (all DH hosted). All three WP installs are the latest stable build (2.9.2).

The issue is this. The wp-admin interface works fine, and and I can edit, post, create drafts, save drafts, publish drafts, etc, for roughly 10-20 “clicks” (that is, 10-20 update requests sent to the server). After that, when I click on “save draft” or similar (anything that updates to the server) it just hangs and eventually times out. All requests still process normally–that is, I can navigate the wp-admin interface fine, load drafts, etc, but anything that involves updating data results in a time out. I have to leave it alone for an hour or more before it’s usable again.

I was wondering if this might have something to do with running mod_security and FastCGI on the domains? This was never an issue prior to about a month ago, right after an update (I think it was to 2.9.1, but I don’t recall exactly).

It’s only an issue if I try to edit a post a lot in the online editor. If I do all my edits in a wordprocessor and then update, I can usually get my posts up without an issue. This is getting really annoying–any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

This fixed it for me.

I think it’s a wordpress issue not a DH issue.

Thanks, I’ll give it a shot and see if it works.
