Wordpress Install Redirecting to Godaddy parked page

I registered my domain through Godaddy but have it hosted at Dreamhost. I did the WP one click install. Says it went in successfully, got an email directing me to the wordpress admin setup but that link takes me to page saying the domain is parked at Godaddy?

Any suggestions?

Joe

On godaddy, make sure you changed the nameservers to our servers

Which site of yours? I see a few in various states of development…

If you just swapped your nameservers over, it can take a little while to catch up. If you go to the main page of your domain, you’ll see the dread bad_httpd error. That basically means our servers think you’re on a different server than the one you’re really on. It looks like your DNS changes propagated, though, so there’s no reason they should be this silly.

I gave your config a kick and it seems to be working now.

For reference: http://wiki.dreamhost.com/Bad_httpd_conf

You can usually fix that yourself by saving (without makign any changes) that domain’s setup

You’ve been really helpful, thanks. Are you saying the bad_httpd error should resolve itself or I have more work to do?

It’s all working now … and I want chicken stix now! Darn it, I need to get a fryer.

Ahem. If you need more help don’t hesitate to ask

(For the next people: You sometimes have to flush your local browser cache to get it to pull down the new pages)
