Wordpress / Database Problems

wordpress

I’ve tried to install wordpress about 5 times in a variety of different ways now. (manually, one-click easy, one-click advanced) It seems like it can never connect to the database. I’m beginning to think there’s some weird SQL problem.

Any suggestions?

Try creating a new dbhostname to use (like sql.domain.com)

A one-click easy install should bypass the need for database setup on the user’s part. It sounds like something isn’t right and Support should look into it.

How can I contact support?

Whoops, nvm - found it.

There’s been a bit of trouble recently with the Easy oneclick database connections so I thought it better to totally dismiss that avenue and begin troubleshooting at a more local level. If Advanced fails after at least one attempt to rectify the problem then that would lend more weight to it being an actual account problem.
