Wordpress Backup & Server Move

Today I received an email saying that my site will be moved in the next 7 days. I’m cheking all my paths to make sure I don’t have any problems with the .dataglob thing but I have this problem:

I’m using a plugin called BackUpWordPress wich, of course, does backups. Currently the path has a “.lamentable” stuck in the middle (/home/.lamentable/myusername) but when I try to remove the .lamentable part I get the following error:

Path is not within your webroot. Please specify a writable directory inside /home/.lamentable/myusername/mydomain.com/blog.

What cuould be causing this? I’m have no idea what “path is not in your webroot” means.

Thanks for your help!

You can try ~/example.com/blog. The ~ is the path leading up to, and including, your username.

And if all else fails, fix it as soon as your site gets moved.

Thanks! I tried it and still got the error.

I’ll wait for the move then (and I should probably test that I can actually restore from my backups, right? :D)
