Why no phone support

I’ve been trying to get an e-mail issue sorted out for hours now and I have yet to hear back from anyone.

I really don’t like the idea of there not being any phone support. If e-mail responses were instant it would be a different story, but I’ve had to wait for a few hours and still I haven’t heard anything.

I can’t receive any e-mails to my business addresses on a new hosting account I setup yesterday. This is causing serious issues for my business. I really need some help.

If you are in level 1 plan, you don’t have telephone support. Telephone support is available for level 2, 3, 4.

Are you able to log into webmail with your email account via http://webmail.yourdomain.com?

Did the email go to your junk mail box?

Nope, when I try to login it says:

Unknown user or password incorrect.

Please first check whether the email account is listed in DH panel --> Mails --> Manage Email

If you see your email account in the list, you can click Edit to change the password.

To log in, you need to key in the full email address or the name next to the email address “nothing besides mxxxxxx”.

It takes some time for the new emaill address to be valid. If you created email accounts yesterday, they should be working by now.

If the above is all correct, you can try to re-create some of the email accounts. If it still does not work, I can’t think of any solution but to suggest you to contact DH support.

There are some mail problems at this time, see http://www.dreamhoststatus.com/. This may be affecting you.
