Not really a potential customer since I have shared hosting. If I sign up for a VPS do I have to get a MySQL VPS as well or can I keep using my shared MySQL for anything on the VPS that needs it?
A MySQL VPS is recommended for best results, but is not required. You can continue using the shared MySQL server from your VPS so long as you continue to have a shared hosting account.
Its mostly going to be used for hosting a TeamSpeak 3 server for my Star Wars: The Old Republic guild so MySQL access isn't to crucial.
Aha! Yeah, in that case you shouldn't need a MySQL VPS.
