Upgraded to latest WP and received fatal error message

I upgraded to the latest WP last night and after it finished (?), tried logging in to my admin panel and received the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function register_setting() in /home/ginwis/outlanderpod.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/carousel/jetpack-carousel.php on line 541

Obviously it looks like it’s something w jetpack, but I can’t get in to uninstall it.

I’ve submitted a ticket, no response.
Live chat isn’t working.
Dreamhost isn’t responding on Twitter.

Our site is still “up” but I cannot log into it.

Please advise.

Many thanks!

There’s a new version of Jetpack. (I don’t use Jetpack, so I’m not positive how the following works):

Download the new version of Jetpack to your home computer, and unzip it. SFTP into your server and delete the jetpack directory, then upload the new version of Jetpack, replacing that directory.

My assumption is that all modules exist in the plugin, regardless of if you use them or not. Therefore, the carousel module will be included in the Jetpack plugin you’ve just downloaded.
