Trouble with Facebook Photo & Albums Wordpress plugin (gCode)

Hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction here.

I have a Wordpress blog at

and I’ve installed this plugin
Facebook Album & Photos

Following the directions, I entered the desired facebook account ID corresponding to the fb account from which I want to pull in photos:

the facebook id for this is 182235355229365, you pull this number from a photo’s URL on facebook. I entered the ID in the Facebook Photos setting in my Wordpress dashboard.

Then I created a photos page in Wordpress, containing the code

<?php if (function_exists('showPhotos')) {showPhotos();} ?>

From the plugin’s documentation, I think that’s all I’m supposed to do. But the page viewed on my blog is empty except for the title:

What am I missing? Does some kind of sharing have to be enabled on the facebook account? Or is this plugin broken on Dreamhost? It did say untested but I haven’t had issues with other plugins and it is highly rated so I’d love to make it work.

Thanks for your help and advice!

You need to work this out with the developer of the app. This is not a Dreamhost issue.

The developer suggests you ask here:

You need to say farewell to Facebook anyway. They are in favor of CISPA.

The best way to know that we’re having an impact? When our opponents lash out at us. And boy did they ever.

Politico wrote an article that highlights some of the work we’ve done in opposition to CISPA – including our campaign to call Mark Zuckerberg out on lining up Facebook in support of the bill:

Facebook, IBM and other firms — along with lawmakers — have been targeted this week in attacks on Twitter and Facebook, via email and online petitions.

What do the powers-that-be think of our grassroots activism?

“Cyberbullying,” one tech company insider dubbed it.

Right on. We want to be free to ‘bully’ mega corporations and politicians whenever they deserve it. And your donations keep us independent and make it possible for us to do so.
