Hi I have a domain that is hoste on DreamHost but registered elsewhere. I would now like to register it through DreamHost (its Cheaper!) Is there is a list of steps somewhere? How can I do this with least disruption & of course not losing data.

If it’s already hosted here, you won’t lose any data, as DNS won’t change. You should already be using ns1.dreamhost.com, etc. at your current registrar.
