Thunderbird Alert 530 incorrect login

Hello,

We just moved our email server to Dreamhost, and as such, had to edit all of our email account settings. We are all set up and running (successfully sending and receiving email) but continue to receive “Alert 530: login incorrect” upon opening Thunderbird and periodically while running the program. I have tried resetting all the ports/security authentications to no avail, and have used alternate settings available at http://wiki.dreamhost.com/Thunderbird.

I also went in Thunderbird options and deleted all saved passwords unrelated to the current server and mail accounts, though I wasn’t hopeful that would do anything, and it doesn’t seem to have.

Could it be related to security certificates?

Any help? Is there a better place to ask this question? Thunderbird support has not provided any useful help either.
