Symfony install on Dreamhost

apps

#1

Has anyone installed symfony inside their dreamhost environment?
If so, would you share the steps needed for installation?
I’ve already downloaded symfony & sandbox to a web directory of mine. Here is where sandbox is: http://www.tomcastonzo.com/sf_sandbox/web/
Getting his error:unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR My guess is this is because php4 is being called up by default instead of php5??? I tried adding this line to a .htaccess file:

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php

But then the browser does not know what to do with the file. It’s not being executed on the server. Any help would be great!

You should probably change php versions by editing your domain’s settings in the Panel.

You can find some discussion of symfony with the search, but I haven’t seen a step-by-step.

They need more support help.
Pay me (and DreamHost gets 5%+$0.30) Cut the code: 9999=$99.99 Off
