Sub Domains with Drupal installation

#1

Hello all,

I have a single drupal installation in my account. I know how to create a subdomain but I m wondering if there is any way to create a subdomain that reference on a specific url alias patterns.

For example on my site I have there are these pages:

http://mysite.com/idnumber/add
http://mysite.com/idnumber/results
http://mysite.com/idnumber/addsomethingelse
http://mysite.com/idnumber/otherresults
http://mysite.com/idnumber/anotherpage

and I want to create a subdomain that will replace the mysite.com/idnumber. As a result the above pages will seem like:

http://subdomain.mysite.com/add
http://subdomain.mysite.com/results
http://subdomain.mysite.com/addsomethingelse
http://subdomain.mysite.com/otherresults
http://subdomain.mysite.com/anotherpage

Any ideas?

Set the sub-domains to be redirects in Panel.

Yes I know about the redirection but I would like to know if I can redirect a subdomain and the subdomain address will continue to show in the browser window (I don’t remember how to call this functionality)…

Move the site from mysite.com to subdomain.mysite.com
