SSL Problems

#1

Having problems after installing an SSL certificate. The website is http://www.totalhomeav.com and could be accessed just fine before “creating a unique IP” through dreamhost so that I can have an SSL cert. After following all the directions as written by dreamhost on installing the SSL cert, you can only access the website by putting an s in the address (https://www.totalhomeav.com) and you just get an error message when you try to visit without the s. The main goal here is to just have a few sections of the website that are secured, like the account info page and the check-out page, etc. Not the whole thing… How do I fis this.
For reference, the store part (although unfinished) can be checked out here https://www.totalhomeav.com/catalog (hopefully without the “s” some day)

Are you running an off-the-shelf e-commerce package or did you write the site yourself?

Have you taken a look at your .htaccess file lately?

Extra lifetime domain and $82 off with code 1DOM82 or use LM97 for $97 off. Other Dreamhost coupon codes

I’m running OSCommerce Version 2.2. It was running fine as well before the SSL Installation. I haven’t checked the .htaccess file (and don’t even now if I have one) but if I do, what do I look for?

Have you found/read the following thread from the osCommerce forums?
