The DreamCompute instance is active and working OK – reachable by a service client. I haven’t made any changes since the last time I ssh’ed into it several weeks ago. Port 22/tcp is still allowed in per Security Groups/default. But now a ssh command just times out. Ideas?
I could be reading this incorrectly.
You can log in and start a session, but no commands you issue appear to be running on the server?
Is this a “live user” session or a scripted one from a second box?
No, I can’t log in because I can’t get in with ssh; the remote (where I am) ssh command times out. I would just like to update Ubuntu on the instance.
I have a service running on the instance, however, that is responding normally to a remote client.
