I’m running Spamassassin 3.0.2 on three user accounts. In one of those accounts, the autowhitelist has gone completely bugnuts with the result that most spam is assigned a negative score. (I should’ve turned it off in the first place.) At this point I just want the autowhitelist to go away completely for this user, but I’m afraid that if I try what I have in mind, I’ll break something.
First I tried running
spamassassin --remove-from-whitelist but get an error:
Cannot open bayes databases /home/mongo/.spamassassin/bayes_* R/O: tie failed:Can I just kill the autowhitelist by deleting the auto-whitelist file in the .spamassin directory and then setting
use_auto_whitelist 0 in user_prefs, or will this break things?
