Spam sent to me by me

#1

I was looking in my spam folder and found an email that is spam that appears to be sent from my email address, to my email address. I suspect it is a spoof or something, but I can’t tell by looking at the header. Can anyone tell me how they did this? And how I might be able to stop them?

Here is the email along with the headers:

First: The spammer is Robert Alan Soloway. Spamhaus has lots of info on him: http://www.spamhaus.org/rokso/index.lasso

Second: I do not know how he is doing it, probably some macro in his spamware I suppose? It is his latest “gem”, he has been doing that for some time now, setting the sender as the same as the recipient.
And no, you cannot stop him.
Hopefully some day, some authority in the US will nail him.

If you don’t get at least 10 emailsolutioncorp.com spam emails per day, it probably means you’re not checking your email.

The internet should reject any piece of mail that mentions that domain name. They are scum.

As chicci mentioned you can’t stop the spammer, but can’t you setup all recieved mails to your info@…com to be sent to blackhole? I mean you’ll not recieve any mail from on that address. Maybe the address is important. But i think you can do it temporarily.Isn’t it?
