Spam assassin activated?!

I’ve previously never had any spam control activated on this account (or any for that matter) but all of a sudden when I get an email from a forum where I’m getting topic reply notices, I get a second, exactly the same, but with a spam assassin text file attached, sample below:

SPAM: -------------------- Start SpamAssassin results ----------------------
SPAM: This mail is probably spam. The original message has been altered
SPAM: so you can recognise or block similar unwanted mail in future.
SPAM: See for more details.
SPAM: Content analysis details: (6.8 hits, 5 required)
SPAM: TO_EMPTY (1.4 points) To: is empty
SPAM: TO_MALFORMED (1.1 points) To: has a malformed address
SPAM: NO_REAL_NAME (0.5 points) From: does not include a real name
SPAM: EXCUSE_1 (2.3 points) BODY: Gives a lame excuse about why you were sent this SPAM
SPAM: SUPERLONG_LINE (0.4 points) BODY: Contains a line >=199 characters long
SPAM: MISSING_HEADERS (1.1 points) Missing To: header
SPAM: -------------------- End of SpamAssassin results ---------------------

Is this Dreamhost’s doing? If so why? I didn’t turn it on, don’t want it on.

I’m getting spammed by spam assassin, how ironic can you get?! =D

This is not our doing.

Nope, definitely not. I’d love to support it if we could, though.

Jason - Is there anything in your “.procmailc” file, within the root of your account? This is where SpamAssassin is generally invoked.

no .procmailc at all

I’m getting this from 1 message board, that’s it. I just have topic reply notifications turned on there because I threw out a support question, I don’t visit regularly.

I wonder if it’s their server telling on itself? That just seems so unlikely but I can’t think of another reason that fits.
