For a long time now, any system used on my dreamhost webspace that uses mySql has run incredibly slowly. It takes several seconds for a page to load. By the same token, loading up an image that is saved on our webspace is very quick.
I have gone into the MySql server and optimized all databases that we use, but that does not help with the issue.
Is this a common issue with Dreamhost, or is this the sort of thing that I should speak to their technical support team about? I would like to get this addressed so that our webpages that use MySql run quickly.
