Please help.

The answer is in your other thread:

see post# 3 by DH_Elle S

The problem is you have BOTH hosting at dreamhost AND hosting at weebly. Edit your domain on the “manage domains” page of the panel. You need the Web hosting column to say “DNS Only”, not “fully hosted”. Make that change and you should be set to go, but remember give DNS changes time to propagate.

I did as advised and it started working perfectly. All of a sudden it started displaying that the site is temporarily unavailable.

I’m not a dreamhost employee so I can’t see the same things as DH_Elle S. From public DNS tho, I can see that your original request was for an A-record value of . The link above (whatsmydns) is reporting a slightly different IP

The other IP being reported is a dreamhost shared server. If you have just changed the “fully hosted” to “DNS Only” give it time to propagate (4-12 hours) and that will make this part will go away.

You might click the DNS button under the domain name and double check the custom A-record you entered.
Rechecking the whatsmydns link now I can see the dreamhost IP is on the way out… so just double check your custom record and you should be all set.

Thank you very much for your help. I have changed the A-record value to On my custom DNS records i manually removed the A-record value I hope i haven’t messed things up. Waiting to see what happens next

When those changes are complete you should be good to go. It’s odd that was the type of record that you can remove. It means you added it at some point I think. Anyway it’s good that you removed it, if it was removable by you. You only want the single record for weebly.

You can refresh periodically to watch your changes as they occur at various DNS servers around the world. (not all will get the changes at the same time)
