Site down Twice a day

#1

Dreamhost,

My site has been going down regularly, about twice a day.
http://www.reactorinteractive.net

Would it be possible to add some redundacy to our site? Or mirror the site on two different servers.

That way the site doesn’t need to go down all the time.

Dreamhost services are working great. I’m using SVN for a commercial game due out in the fall. And it’s been speedy!

I’m just concerned about the up time. Everytime the server goes out we can check in or out code. And that slows us down.

Any help you could give me would be great.

Thanks,
~Tim

P.S. I’m using DOHENY

The site is down again today. I keep filing support tickets. But how can I add redudancy?

Right now it appears that your site is just slow to respond. It looks like some (or many?) of the DH servers are showing high loads right now, so it may be related.

So each day from 11-3 PST we are getting Denial of Service attacked. Where the forums go down, svn goes down, email still works, and the site goes down (static HTML pages).

Looks like the site is working (and extremely fast) right now (12:50pm pst). Maybe they fixed the problem?
