Signed temporary URL

Hi,
I’d like to ask if DreamObjects supports signed URL - similar to http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudFront/latest/DeveloperGuide/private-content-creating-signed-url-canned-policy.html#private-content-creating-signed-url-canned-policy-procedure

We’d like to create temporary valid URL for downloading object that expires after some defined time.

It seems that it’s possible to create signed url manually via “DreamObjects control panel” According to https://help.dreamhost.com/hc/en-us/articles/215594008-How-to-download-files-from-DreamObjects
However is it possible to generate signed URL on our side?

Thank you
Petr

Yes, DreamObjects supports signed URL via API. Check the demo code in Python on https://help.dreamhost.com/hc/en-us/articles/214948128-Getting-Started-using-DreamObjects-object-store-API

def generate_signed_url(self): self.signed_url = self.key.generate_url( expires_in=3600, query_auth=True, force_http=True )

Other SDKs compatible with S3 should also work. Let us know if you have specific issues with it.
