Send Delayed EMail

#1

Greetings:

I have the basic squirrel mail setup, and I want to know if I can intentionally send a delayed EMail–that is, write it now and have it sent while I am sleeping, at work or on vacation.

Any pros or cons to this? How would the header look–if I wanted proof that I sent it delayed, would that show up in the header also?

Thanks,

It’sMe

Usually people complain that mail is being delayed when they don’t want it to be

You could write a script to send the delayed email and have it run via a cronjob at a specific time.

I was thinking more along the lines of DELAYED SEND, which is in Outlook.

Yes. To mimic that function you could write a script to send the delayed email and have it run via a cronjob at a specific time.
