On Tuesday, February 3rd, our Cloud Engineering team will be expanding the storage capacity of DreamObjects. After the new hardware is added, data will be redistributed throughout the cluster to maintain an optimal replication strategy. During the maintenance window, uploading and downloading content to and from DreamObjects could be intermittently inaccessible. However, your data stored in DreamObjects is safe.

UPDATE: The maintenance window is now complete. We experienced an outage much longer than expected due to issues with new OSDs joining the cluster. We worked through the issue with our professional service vendor and restored service. We are now throttling the rebalance of data throughout the cluster so we don’t affect serving content.
