Remove non-empty directory

I was wondering is there a way I can remove a non-empty directory.

I was told to use a command something like " rm -rf directory" to delete it though SSH. Would this command be correct?

That will do it.

Make sure you got it right before hitting enter… because there’s no turning back.

:stuck_out_tongue: Save up to $96 at Dreamhost with ALMOST97 promo code (I get $1).
Or save $97 with THEFULL97.

you should also be able to set your FTP client to show all fies and directories (even hidden ones) and sometimes there’s a setting to delete non-empty directories too, but then you can delete from there as well.

And if you do mess up for some reason, don’t forget about the .snapshots directory.
