I would like to pass REMOTE_HOST and REMOTE_ADDR to a php var. I’ve never written cgi and I don’t know if I can access these cgi variables directly in php. Does any one have an idea how to achieve this?
Guess I might need to be more specific. I would like to get the host IP that the user is currently connected through and save it in a file. I want to use php to write the file.
Duh… got it
just use $REMOTE_ADDR directly
I was using REMOTE_HOST which isn’t always set.
Hope this helps other beginners.
