Relay Access Denied

I have just signed up for a DH account. After switching the domain over, the site is working but when sending an email to any of the accounts I get the following error
" PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 9): 554 <>: Relay access denied."

Does anyone know what is causing this?

Without more details the best I can do is point you at the wiki. Let us know if this doesn’t help you resolve the issue. (Most email issues are related to attempting to combat spam.)

I can’t suggest anything but to remind you that it takes some time for new emaill address to become valid.

You can check your email address by DH panel --> Email --> Manage Email

Have you tried enabling SMTP authentication in your email client? The exact method for doing so will vary between email clients.

I recall having a similar problem and enabling authentication resolved it for me.
