Redirecting to an IP address

Is there any way to redirect a sub domain to an IP address without it adding “http://” at the front of it? It does it automatically.

  1. What are you trying to accomplish?
  2. How are you trying to do the redirect? Through the domain control panel or through mod_rewrite or through mod_alias (that’s the Redirect directive in .htaccess)?
