Purchased my domain in DreamHost but under Manage Domains it's not registered

Hi,

I’ve recently purchased a domain in DreamHost, but under Manage Domains the Registration column is showing as unknown. And when I go ot registration it shows that the domain I purchased isn’t registered in DreamHost.

Am I missing something? Is buying a domain in DreamHost completely different from registering the domain as well?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Did you verify your domains contact information after it was purchased? You should have received an email from do-not-reply@dreamhostregistry.com to the listed ‘Registrant’ email.

Replying to help anyone who might have the same issue.
Apparently my registration was rejected because of the WHOIS privacy policy. So I was charged but my account still had the credit. All I needed to do was submit the order again and untick the enable privacy policy etc etc

After that, got the email within a few minutes. Problem solved!
