I am fairly new to “web creation”…I created my site with Publisher…and for some reason when I upload it none of my graphics are showing up…and it is only showing the very first page as ALL of the pages. My site is www.essential-support.com. Any assistance on this issue is greatly appreciated!
Your links all point to your homepage. The only two graphics appearing on your page are the banner and the navigation bar on the left, and no other graphics are being “requested” (according to the code).
I’m sorry, but MS Publisher produces completely incomprehensible web pages that cannot be “debugged” by traditional web developer methods, so it is going to be very difficult to help you.
For one thing, it looks like you aren’t uploading the images. For example, your BODY tag contains the attribute:
But, when I try to go to:
I get a 404 (File not found). That tells me either the images aren’t being uploaded, or they are being uploaded to the wrong location.
The directory “index_files” exists (and is browsable! Turn that off!) but nothing is in that directory.
So, it looks like when you are publishing, you are only publishing the “index.html” file and none of the supporting files.
Not being familiar with Publisher, I don’t know that I can help solve that, but looking at the HTML code that Pulbisher generates (a nightmare!) that’s what stands out to me.
If this isn’t enough for you to adjust any setting that may exist on Publisher, perhaps someone more famililar with that application can assist.
Does this provide any useful information:
