Problem with SSH

#1

Hi, I am having problems running commands remotely with SSH.

Login is working fine, but when the command gets sent the process hangs indefinately.

Command I am using:
ssh user@domain.com ls

Any ideas?

What SSH client are you using? I do remote commands all the time without a problem.

Heck, while you’re at it, try:
ssh -v user@domain.com ls
and watch the debugging output.

Did you set keys first? or still using passwords?

I use keychan to manage my keys and env

Finally figured it out. I had been too lazy to change my shell, and I use zsh, so I just put the command to start it in my bashrc. That somehow interfered with the remote command causing the hangup. Now I’ve removed it and everything is working fine. Thanks for the replies folks!
