Problem with PHP.ini configuration

#1

hi
I am useing php uploader script and I want to change max upload size
and I did everything like the wiki article on copying the PHP files and configuring .htaccess file!
but in the last step " Set up the .htaccess file " when I add the following two lines in .htaccess file

Action php-cgi /cgi-bin/php-wrapper.cgi
Action php5-cgi /cgi-bin/php-wrapper.cgi

after uploading .htaccess file to my document root ,then php files do not work in my website

In shell:

$ cd domain.com
$ dos2unix .htaccess

Or delete cgi-bin and .htaccess and run script linked below.

I have deleted cgi-bin folder and .htaccess file
and i uploaded dh-phpini.php into my domain folder
when i open it in a browser I get this message:
( Run script in the [www.mydomain.com] folder )

dh-phpini.php disappeared in my website?

You should not delete your cgi-bin folder. You’ll need them to process your PHP files.

I’m not sure how to get your cgi-bin folder back. Maybe you can try to go to DH panel --> Domains --> Manage Domains --> Web Hosting --> Edit. Disable fastcgi, save change, enable fastcgi, and save changes again.

sXi is trying to help you to clean windows characters in your .htaccess file. Follow his instruction to run dos2unix .htaccess first.

Upload it to the folder it tells you to.

Open it in a browser (eg. http://domain.com/script.php).

Finished.

It could be yet another different server configuration, although I’d think that unlikely. If you want me to take a look at it for you just PM me your info and we’ll get it sorted.
