Problem with new upgrade to Ubuntu server, sunday the 12th October

wordpress

#1

hello,
I’ve found that after recent upgrade to ubuntu server my site has gone down, showing a message like:
“Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.”

my scenario is:
[]php should be already 5.4 FASTCGI as verified through the dreamhost webpanel;
[
]I’ve never made changes to php.ini file inside my installation folder of wordpress;

wordpress should be up to date cause I’ve checked automatic update from dreamhost webpanel;
I sincerely don’t know what I can do to put the site up and running again, I read the guide at

as you provided but I haven’t find anything useful, otherwise I wouldn’t write here.

hope someone from dreamhost support team read it and can help me in some ways,
the site is:
www.busenmilano.org

best regards

If I may ask, how did you fix this problem?
