PHP5 on server, PHP4 on remapped subdir?

#1

I have set my server to run PHP5, and this works well. Now, I wanted to make a friend be able to help develop http://nehle.net/scogoons , so I created an account for him at and remapped the subdir http://nehle.net/scg to that user. However, that version only runs PHP4, and as we have some PHP5-specific code, I’m getting loads of syntax errors.

How do I make it so BOTH run PHP5?

I recommend using a subdomain instead. Go to the web panel and create http://scogoons.nehle.net (or whatever) as a fully-hosted subdomain. That way, your friend can have whatever setup they want.

Thanks, that worked great. Still weird with the PHP4 stuff though.
