Has anybody had any success in compiling XSL into PHP5.1.2? Everytime I try, I get undefined reference errors. It's really annoying and not sure what's causing the problem.
The configure line for XSL: --with-xsl=$HOME/php
I have libxslt-1.1.15 installed into $HOME/php
And the error does show I'm using my libxslt install. Here's it's configure line:
Everything compiles up until it compiles the actual php cli binary, and always the same error reguardless what I try. It's quite annoying really. I've searched Google with zero luck. It's like I'm the only one having the error. The closest I found was somebody having problems compiling gnome and it was cause it was using an outdated libXML2 (and the compile line actually said /usr/lib/libxml2.so -- mine does not).
I've tried using the ones on the system's (by just using /usr) but i get the same error. I've even changed the -I to my lib directory, same error. LD_LIBRARY_PATH set to my directory, still the same error....It's directly related to XSLT, removing that line from my configure allows PHp to compile. And the PHP5 Wiki compile guide doesn't use libxslt. It's funny, the "compile script" downloads it, compiles it and installs it into the person's home directory, but the configure line doesn't enable it! lol
Anyway, here's the error I get. I can't figure out why. Maybe some high ol' mighty DH'ers or DH folks can pin point out what I cannot see:
