I just compiled PHP5.1.2 the lastest and it works as CGI but I need it to work as APACHE MODULE. I need help in editting the .htaccess file to get the server to run as an apache module.

example it didnot work

Options -indexes

LoadModule php5_module /home/andysuper/

#</IfModule mod_php5.c>
php_value PHPIniDir /home/andysuper/

mod_gzip_on no

You cannot get a custom compiled version of PHP to run as an Apache module unless you have full control over Apache’s configuration files (and able to “HUP” the server after the install).

So, in essense, sorry, no can do.

Why do you need it as an Apache module? The only reason I can think of is to allow .htaccess php_value modification (I see you have), but if you have a custom PHP, you can edit the INI file directly yourself making php_value directive moot.
