PHP deriving client date/time

software development

#1

I have searched around and found a method for obtaining the client timezone offset, but when I use that in my PHP program on the server I am getting very wrong results. The only explanation would be that the server time is way out (17 hours behind?). I don’t really believe that. Has anyone else solved the client date/time problem?
Thanks
Brian

Echo out the server date…then you’ll know for sure.

DH servers typically run on Pacific US time. If you’re in another country, it is possible that they are indeed 17 hours behind, depending on where you are.
