In the following form, I want to hide the three select boxes ‘month’, ‘day’ and ‘year’. This particular script’s validation requires that a month, day and year post to the next page on the form, but I can’t use this particular part of the script. Is there a way to add hidden tags that will post month, day and year?

thanks
barbara

Change this:

<select name="month" id="month" onchange="updateDay('month','JoinForm','year','month','day')"> {month_options} </select> <select name="day" id="day"> {day_options} </select> <select name="year" id="year" onchange="updateDay('year','JoinForm','year','month','day')"> {year_options} </select>To this:

<input type="hidden" name="month" value="00" /><input type="hidden" name="day" value="00" /><input type="hidden" name="year" value="0000" />That will return zero values for you. Alternatively, you can return “NULL” values by replacing the values with an empty string (value=""").

thanks, not too sure why that didn’t work, but you pointed me in the right direction…here is what worked.

{month_options}

{day_options}

{year_options}

Oh I see. You just wanted to hide the controls themselves?
