I am from China, and I want to buy your hosting service. When I ordered a purchase on your website, and was guided to google checkout page, I was told that “dreamhost does not accept payment from China.” So does that mean I have no chance to use your service?
Contact DH directly explaining your trouble with Google Checkout and ask if they’ll accept a Paypal setup if you have access to that mate.

Alternately, ask a friend if you can use their credit/debit card for the intitial setup payment.

That is because google checkout is not available in china. If you have a valid credit card, you can try to make payment with your credit card. Before you ask DH support, please make sure you can use your credit card internationally.
