i recently paid for a hosting account using paypal and now they are saying that i didnt pay when i KNOW i did and have proof

We can at least give you confidence that it’s a stand-up company that will do the right thing. Have you sent in your “proof”? Are you just waiting for them to verify it?

Remember that as a vendor, the important thing is for Dreamhost is that they receive payment. Proof that you sent payment is just proof that either:

  1. The payment is on the way.
  2. the payment “got lost”.

Have you sent Dreamhost the PayPal transaction ID? How long ago did you make payment?
