Path to Perl? I need help fast

First, what is the path to perl?

I am ready to jump off a high building right now, having spent the whole weekend trying to get MT installed. I’ve done it twice before without any problems, but it’s so different with Dreamhost. I’ve read the special instructions Robert put together (http://www.wombatnation.com/misc/installMTDreamHost.html) , but I’m so confused about where to put the files since there is no cgi-bin. Basically, I’m lost. Anyone want to earn $50 tonight installing it for me?

Thanks so much in advance for any help you can offer.

Path to PERL:
/usr/bin/perl or /usr/local/bin/perl

For more common values needed in CGIs, please refer to this useful article in DreamHost’s Knowledge Base:
https://panel.dreamhost.com/kbase/index.cgi?area=153

Where to install MT:
according to Robert’s instructions, install MT in a sub-directory within your web directory.

If you are still experiencing problems and cannot get anyone else to help you, please feel free to send me a private message. I am happy to give it a go at installing MT for you–for free.

Disclaimer: I am no MT guru (read: I offer no guarantee for my work!), even though I did manage to install the software on my DH account successfully last year.

All the best,
marsbar
