I'm seeing looooong panel delays. e.g. jus now 4m49s before I gave up waiting for https://panel.dreamhost.com/index.cgi?tree=support&.
And can anyone tell me: do we all share the same machine(s) (hence performance) for panel service?
Not only that, but even webmail is slow or times out.
And, intermittently, my cloaked websites do not actually work. I get an error message instead.
I think that's an independent problem, often due here to a large inbox listing that the system has patience for.
Is that error "bad_httpd_conf"? Else what?
Ditto... I've been trying to create a new mysql database for the last hour or so. Nothing, FireFox just states that it's loading. Stopped it and retried a few times, doesn't get anywhere.
Update, I'll be damned, right after I posted this, it went through...

FWIW, Support replied:
These problems are unrelated to our central database problems.
The panel slowness is completely related to the database and I apologizefor that - the admin team is working relentlessly to permanently fix theissue (it's furstrating for all of us as it effects access for employeesand customers alike).
